Re‑calculate and verify fan clearances and air intake if
alternate drop heights are used.

Extension tubes include extra holes to create shorter
alternate fan drop heights when field cutting.
Other fan drop heights are possible with field drilling and
cutting. Factory drilled 9/16 in (14 mm) holes are 3/4 in
(19 mm) from each end and spaced 3 in (76 mm) on
center. Additional holes are required to route the safety
cable.
Removing the extension tube:
• Decreases the fan drop height to 43.00 in (1100 mm).
• Requires (4) 1/2 in x 1.5 in bolts, washers and nylon
lock nuts.
