NOTE:
accommodate both angled and skewed beams.
1. Clamp the angle brackets (A) to the laminated or
concrete beam (B). Keep the short leg of the angle
brackets flush to or slightly below the bottom of the
beam.
2. Make sure the angle bracket is plumb.
3. Use the bracket as template to drill holes through the
beam.
4. Install bolts (C) through both brackets and the beam.
Secure with washers and nylon lock nuts (D).
5. Bolt the beam bracket (E) directly to angle brackets
with 2 in bolts.


NOTE:
needed for installation to laminated beam and can be
discarded.
6. If equipped with a extension tube (F):
a. Attach the extension tube to the beam bracket.
b. Attach the enclosure brackets (G) to the opposing
7. If no extension tube is present, attach the enclosure
bracket (G) to the beam bracket. Use (4) 1/2 in x
1.5 in bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts.
8. Tighten all nylon lock nuts.
9. Use a bubble level to plumb the assembly.
10. After enclosure is in place, install safety cable:
a. Slide the safety cable clamp (H1) onto the safety
b. Route the safety cable through the extension tube
c. Wrap extra cable and secure with a tie band or cut
