Connecting display devices

Your Matrox Odyssey XG is equipped with two DVI connectors and is capable
of TripleHead multi-display output. To connect a digital monitor (a monitor that
uses digital input, usually a flat panel monitor) to your Matrox board, your
monitor must have a DVI connector. You can also connect an analog (RGB)
monitor to either DVI connector by using the included DVI-I to HD-15 adapter.
It is possible to connect two displays (an analog or digital monitor, and a television)
to connector #2 via the DVI-TO-DVIBNCSV cable.
Some monitors with DVI connectors support both digital and analog input. If
you are using one of these monitors with your Matrox product, make sure it is
configured to use the correct type of input. For more information, see your
monitor documentation.
Before changing the display device(s) connected to your board, ensure your
computer is turned off. While your computer is turned on, it might be using
display settings that are specific to the current display connection(s). Some displays
might be permanently damaged if incorrect settings are used.
