    Some monitors with DVI connectors support both digital and analog input. If you are using one of these monitors with your Matrox product, make sure it is configured to use the correct type of input. For more information, see your monitor documentation.

    Matrox Odyssey XG is a high-performance PCI/PCI-X display board. It features a 256-bit graphics processing unit (GPU), two high-speed link ports, and up to 128 Mbytes of on-board memory. In addition, Matrox Odyssey XG supports fast writes, which effectively double the data rate between the GPU and Host.

    Matrox Odyssey XG is a PCI-X board. PCI-X is a high-performance backwards-compatible enhancement to the conventional PCI bus specification. As such, Matrox Odyssey XG can transfer data using either the Host’s PCI bus or PCI-X bus, depending on the slot used by the board.

    Connectors on Matrox Odyssey XG Besides the PCI-X edge connector, there are four interface connectors on the Matrox Odyssey XG. On the bracket, there are two DVI-I connectors. On the top edge of the board, there are two link port connectors.
