Depending on the model, the extended temperature range allows
temporary operation at elevated or very low temperatures. Please note
that temporary functional restrictions may occur in this case.
A temporary cut-off of the cellular connection can occur at increased
temperatures for example. This protects the device from excessive
heating and occurs in the event of temporarily increased power
requirements such as high cellular data rates or very unfavourable
cellular coverage.
For applications with generally increased power requirements, such as
continuous data transmission or simultaneous use of more than 2 LAN
ports, the upper limit of the extended temperature range is not
suitable; the upper temperature limit of the standard range will apply.
