Problem
The sensors or the
proximity sensor do not
respond.

Possible cause and remedy
You have selected the
setting. When this is activated, the sensors and
proximity sensor do not respond when the steam
combination oven is switched off.
 As soon as the steam combination oven is
switched on, the sensors and the proximity sensor
will respond. If you want the sensors and the
proximity sensor to respond even when the steam
combination oven is switched off, select the

The settings for the proximity sensor are switched off.
 Change the settings for the proximity sensor by
selecting
Settings
The proximity sensor is defective.
 Call Miele.
The steam combination oven is not connected to the
power supply.
 Check that the steam combination oven plug is
correctly inserted into the socket and switched on.
 Check if the circuit breaker has tripped. Contact a
qualified electrician or Miele.
If the display does not respond, there is a fault with
the controls.
 Touch and hold the On/Off  sensor until the
display switches off and the steam combination
oven restarts.
