Cleaning and care
Cleaning process sequence
proceeds in several phases:
HydroClean
1. Preparation
2. Cleaning phase
3. Rinsing phase
4. Subsequent manual cleaning
5. Drying phase
The steam combination oven will guide
you through the entire cleaning process.
As preparation, for example, you will be
prompted to remove accessories from
the oven compartment and to pour the
cleaner through the floor filter.
When all preparations are finished, the
cleaning phase will start. The door will
lock automatically. The cleaner is mixed
with fresh water and sprayed
throughout the entire oven
compartment by the distribution fan on
the oven ceiling. This procedure is
repeated several times.
The rinsing phase begins when the time
remaining is 1:20 hours. Soiling and
cleaning agent residues are flushed out
of the oven compartment. At the
beginning of and during this phase the
water container needs to be filled
several times with fresh tap water and
the condensate container needs to be
emptied.
The last phase is the drying phase. It
begins with a remaining time of approx.
30 minutes. In order to remove coarse
soiling residues, the oven compartment
needs to be wiped out with a soft cloth
before the start of the drying phase.

If you switch off the steam
combination oven, the cleaning
process will be cancelled. After
switching the steam combination oven
back on again, the rinsing and drying
phases are carried out automatically to
remove any potential cleaning agent
residues. Normal operation is only
possible again upon completion (see
"Problem solving guide - Messages in
the display").
Preparing and starting the cleaning
process

Select the cleaning level based on the
degree of soiling.
Confirm with OK.
The message

Cleaning will be prepared. This may take
several minutes. As soon as preparation
has finished, you will be prompted to
remove the accessories and the shelf
runners.
Take all accessories out of the oven
compartment.
Remove the shelf runners together
with the FlexiClip telescopic runners
(if present) (see "Cleaning the shelf
runners").
Confirm with OK.
Lower the top heat/grill element (see
"Lowering the top heat/grill
element").
Remove any coarse soiling from the
oven compartment and from
underneath the floor filter.
Ensure that soiling does not get into
the drainage system.
