In a separate container, let the yeast dissolve in water for 5 minutes. Add the flour and salt to
the bowl. Put the dough hook in place, close the lid and start the appliance at speed 1. Add the
water and yeast gradually over 2 minutes. Turn to speed 2 for 8 minutes. Let the dough rise for 45

Take the butter out of the fridge 1 hour before use or microwave it for 15 seconds to soften it
without causing it to melt. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Add the flour, baking powder, softened
butter, sugar and eggs to the bowl, put the mixer in place and close the lid. Start the appliance
at speed 1 for 30 seconds, then change to speed 8 for 2 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl and
turn the appliance to speed 8 for 15 seconds or until the pieces of butter have been well mixed in.
Grease and line a cake tin. Pour the mixture in and bake at 180°C for 55 minutes. Leave to cool for
10 minutes before removing it from the mould.

the bowl and scrape the sides with a spatula. Then, smooth the mayonnaise with three to four
