1. The video decoder can accept 480i, 576i, via component input connectors. It also supports
NTSC M, NTSC-J SECAM and PAL via S-Video connector and composite video connector.
2. This decoder will decode video inputs to ITU-R BT.601 digital format. They interlacing
digital video outputs IN1B[2~9] & IN1G[2~9], H_sysn(IN1HS), V_sync(IN1VS) and
clock(IN1CLK) will output to PW318.
1.4. De-interlacer, scalar and micro-controller - PW318C
The de-interlace processor accepts parallel digital ITU-R BT.601 data with H/V sync. It
will convert the signal from interlace to progressive, format is YCBCR 4:2:2.
1. MCU
The MCU was embedded on PW318, used for controlling whole electronic boards and peripheral devices
and IR receiving. For essential calculation and storage, it has been set up with DDRAM, Flash ROM and
EEPROM. The DDRAM is responsible for calculation. Flash is stored the system software.
2.
Scalar
PW318 can process dual channel data: graphic port and video port data. It receives data with YCBCR 4:2:2 (video input) as well as RGB 4:4:4
(graphic input).
3. EEPROM
The series EEPROM U20 (AT24C128, 128kbytes) stores the system information, included factory and user data.
