    Overview Introduction The XINCOM Twin WAN Series provides a secure and reliable connection to the Internet and corporate network connectivity to small branch offices and small to medium sized businesses. These networking gateways have dual WAN ports that allow you to connect two separate broadband connections of any type, including Cable, DSL and/or T1 for ultimate automatic failover and load balancing.

    Select the appropriate port- LAN, WAN 1, and/or WAN 2- where other network routers are connected to your network. Note: Only use this if you have more than one router on the network. All routers or gateways on the network must support both RIP and RIP v2.

    The Policy Setup console is used to create, edit and delete VPN policies for Phase 2 authentication and a part of Phase 1. Use this page to connect your XiNCOM VPN gateway to non-XiNCOM VPN devices. No VPN Load Balancing is available when connecting your XiNCOM VPN gateway to a non-XiNCOM VPN device.
  • Page 64 IPSec Traffic Binding - Settings VPN Tunnel List This drop-down box displays a list of tunnels already configured within the XiNCOM VPN Gateway. To edit a tunnel, first select it from the drop down box and the page should automatically refresh displaying the information for that tunnel. The XiNCOM VPN Gateway can setup up to 30 tunnels.

    By default this feature is disabled. Not all VPN Gateways have this feature. If you are connecting to a non-XiNCOM VPN gateway it is recommended that you keep this feature off. Otherwise, frequent disconnects may result because the remote side (non-XiNCOM VPN) will not reply.
