NAMES AND FUNCTIONS OF PARTS
(J) Fractional Exposure Control
(f) Fractional Exposure Control Lock.
Turn the dial to regulate the light quantity reaching the
film.
The dial is set at O for shooting under normal conditions.
(D Film Rewinder
(4) Film Rewind Button
Wind back the film with the Film Rewinder for making
lap dissolve pictures. When not using, be sure to return
the handle into its recess.

Footage and Frame Counter
It tells you how much film you have used. The numbers
written larger represent meters. Those written smaller
represent feet.
The Footage and Frame Counter is provided with a film
backwind indicator needle and orange markings around
the outer edge of the ring to tell you how much film you
have wound back.

Remote Control Socket
For plugging in remote control switch.
(7) Accessory Socket ('/4 inch tripod screw)
For plugging in movie light and other accessories.
(D Power Zoom Control
Press T to zoom in and press W to zoom out.

(Q) Frames-per-second Speed Control
Can be set for shooting at 18 f.p.s., 24 f.p.s., and slow
motion (about 36 f.p.s.). The normal speed is 18 f.p.s.
® Shutter Release Button

Press the Shutter Release Button to activate the electric
eye and advance the film.
® Electric Eye Lock Lever

The Electric Eye Lock is raised to lock the aperture.
Normally, it is kept at horizontal position.
© Focusing Ring
Turn the ring to focus the lens. The ring is provided with
distance calibrations.

To zoom manually, just turn the zoom ring with the
manual zoom lever.

@ Variable Shutter Lock
The shutter opening can be varied by turning the dial. It is
used for fading, exposure adjustment, and adjustment of
shutter speed. It can be set at O (open), 2
('A),
4 (%), and
C (close).
Normally, it is set and locked at O.

For regular runs, set the dial at R (run), for single-frame
shots, set it at 1, and for remote control shots, set it at
R.C. The Shutter Function Dial Lock prevents the film
from advancing even if the shutter release button is
pressed down.

Battery Check Button

Battery Check Lamp
Press the button down. If the green lamp turns on, the
batteries are working properly.

Film Chamber Window
Look into the window to check the type of film loaded in
the camera and to see whether the film is advancing
properly or not.

Viewfinder Eyepiece
Just turn it to adjust to eyesight. It will accomodate an
eyecup.
