Fault handling
Low tank level
1 When the level in the AdBlue/DEF tank drops to around 23 %, a warning lamp lights up.
2 When the tank level drops to around 8%, the warning lamp will flash. Engine torque ramps down by 1 % per
minute.
3 When the tank level is below 8 %, the engine will only run at idle.
4 For the engine to revert to full power the tank level must be above 14 %. The tank level must be above 29 %
for the system to extinguish the warning lamp and cancel the fault message.

1 A fault is detected and a warning lamp lights up. Engine torque begins to ramp down by 1 % per minute.
2 If the fault is not remedied the engine will run down to idle.
3 The engine may then be restarted once and operated for max 240 min. If the fault is remedied during this
time the engine can continue running at full power.
4 If the fault is not remedied within 240 min, the engine speed will run down to idle and service tools are
required to reset the system.
5 A fault remains in the system memory for 40 hours; if a fault recurs within this period the engine will revert
to the ramp-down point it was at when the fault was last remedied.
