Any STU-III/R components corrected or furnished in
replacement are warranted for the remaining duration of the
products initially delivered, including any additional
duration occurring by exercise of the extension options. In
addition, repair work is warranted for 90 days from the date
of repair.

Motorola will repair or replace products within 10 working
days from the date Motorola instructed the user to return
the supplies. For products being shipped outside the United
States, the Government will receive arepaired or
replacement device within 20 working days from the date
Motorola furnished disposition instructions. The above
turnaround times exclude time periods which result from the
user dela3dng return of the equipment after the return
authorization is granted.

Adepot telephone service (toll-free in CONUS, Hawaii and
Alaska) is provided to STU-III/R users for reporting
problems. The phone service will be available aminimum of
eight hours aday, five days per week (Monday through
Friday, excluding Motorola holidays) for the duration of the
warranty period. Motorola will provide diagnostic
assistance, or return-shipping instructions, within 24 hours
after receipt of telephonic notice of the problem.

When defective or non-conforming supplies are returned to
Motorola GEG for correction or replacement pursuant to
Motorola's instruction, and in accordance with packing and
shipping chrections provided by Motorola, Motorola shall
bear the commercial transportation costs and the risk of loss
or damage of the supplies from any location within the
continental United States (irrespective of the f.o.b. point for
the original point of acceptance) to the repair facility. Also,
Motorola shall bear the commercial transportation costs and
the risk of loss or damage of any corrected or replacement
supplies being shipped from the Motorola GEG repair
facility to any location within the continental United States
(irrespective of the f.o.b. point for the original point of
acceptance). For supplies being shipped to/from OCONUS
locations, Motorola GEG will be responsible for transport
to/from the APO point within the continental United States.
