Knowhow is the difference
Mandrel set
The press's standard pressure head is removed by unscrewing the small finger screw and pulling out
the pressure head/nose. The set includes a pressure head/adaptor, the largest end of which should be
facing up towards the piston, replacing the standard pressure head/nose.
The selected mandrel is mounted in the adaptor and secured with the small screw on the side of the
adapter.
Press plate
The press plate is only designed for pressing out bearings from axles or out of bushes, or for separating
objects which have been pressed together. The press plate must be used together with the v-blocks
which should be placed as close as possible to the tear-shaped hole, in order to provide the most
optimal support of both the object and press plate. (See Fig.12)
WARNING!!
The press plate is only designed for use at a maximum pressure 8 Tonnes. If a higher pressure is used,
then the plate will distort.
