6.13 The pump cuts out during operation

Grundfos Eye:
Two opposite red
indicator lights are
flashing simultaneously.
Cause
Overheating due to
excessive liquid
temperature above 45
°C.
Overheating caused by
one of the following:
• high ambient
temperature 55 °C
• overloaded motor
• seized-up motor or
pump.
The voltage is too low.

6.14 Electric shock

All electrical connections must be carried
out by qualified persons in accordance
with local regulations.
Cause
Defective earth
connection.

Remedy
• Supply cold liquid to
the pump.
• Contact your pump
supplier.
• Check the supply
voltage and correct the
fault, if possible.
Remedy
• Connect the earth
connection to the
pump according to
local regulations.

6.15 Resetting fault indications

A fault indication can be reset in one of the two
following ways:
1. Eliminate the fault cause and reset the pump
manually by pressing the Reset button.
2. Enable the Auto reset function.
Example:
If the fault disappears by itself, the pump
will attempt to reset automatically, and the
fault indication will disappear. The fault
indication will still be visible in the
Grundfos GO alarm log.
