6.2

General requirements

Before commissioning it must be checked that:
• The device has been installed and connected in accordance with the guidelines provided
in Installing/mounting (Page 15) and Connecting (Page 28).
• The device meets the local governing codes and good engineering practises for use in a
critical application with applicable backup systems and alarms.
6.3

Local operation

The device is built for easy operation, making it possible to be commissioned quickly. Its
parameters are menu-driven and can be modified through local operation, using the display
and buttons, also known as the Human Machine Interface (HMI).

Note
Output remains active
While the device is being configured, the output remains active and continues to respond to
changes in the process.
