Mount the Y axis on the X axis. For this purpose, use the mounting hardware of the upper positioner. a) Insert two 4h8×12 locating pins into the motion platform of the lower positioner.

Use the mounting hardware of the chain guide short. a) Align the chain guide short with the mounting hole on the base body of the upper positioner that is closest to the positive end of the travel range.
