1
Place the opened brace around the hip and then
centrally on the pelvis. The upper edge (sewn-in
label) may neither be higher than the upper iliac
crest nor extend to the waist. Push your middle
and index fingers from the right and left hands into
the flaps intended for this purpose on the ventral
plate fastener. Then use both hands to pull the
latch plates forwards together evenly. Place the left
latching half on the stomach and Velcro the right
latching half onto it. After attaching the fingers
using Velcro, remove the fingers first from the left
and then the right flap.
3
Take hold of the non-elastic, narrow straps coming
from the back and re-attach them with a pleasantly
tight tension to the stomach fastener using Velcro.

1
Ensure that the brace joint is positioned on the side
of the thigh at the height of the hip joint 2 , that is
to say approx. 3 – 4 cm (approx. 2 finger's width)
above the so-called trochanter major on the thigh
bone. Due to its prominent shape, it can easily be
felt 1 .
4
Attach the upper narrow elastic restraint to the
front area of the pelvic restraint with Velcro for
easier fitting
