triggers when IP1 is high. The timing diagram is shown overleaf:

Delayed signal

A product sensor provides a signal when a product is present. This
signal needs to be delayed so that an inspection light is only turned
on when the product is present. The delay can be expressed as a time
period or a number of encoder counts. For example:
IP3 is the input from the sensor and OP1 is the signal to turn the light

on and off. OP1 has the same signal as IP3, but delayed by 500ms, or
IP3 is the input from the sensor and OP2 is the signal to turn the

light on and off. OP2 has the same signal as IP3, but delayed by 1000
encoder counts.
The two examples can be implemented using the following
