Installation Overview
Follow these steps to install and set up the DMP 128 Plus for operation:
1. Disconnect power from the DMP, and turn off all devices connected to the DMP.
2. If desired, mount the DMP (see
3. Connect the cables, and configure the DMP (see "Rear Panel Features" starting below).
4. Plug in the power supply and all connected devices.

Power input — Plug a standard IEC power cord into this connector to connect the unit to a 100 VAC to

240 VAC, 50-60 Hz power source.
Digital port — Connect up to eight 4-pole 3.5 mm captive screw connectors (see figure 3 for wiring details).

These configurable digital input and output ports are designed to connect to microphones with logic circuitry
for mic mute and tally back functionality. Each port provides a common ground (see
page 15 or the DSP Configurator Help File for configuration details).
The Digital Input and Output ports function by reacting to either HIGH
or LOW logic based on applied voltages.
