Blueberry Cocoa Smoothie
The cocoa powder in this smoothie can be an acquired taste for some,
so we recommend starting with 1 teaspoon (5 ml) for the first try,
then increase as desired. Also, blueberries are full of natural pectin
so drink immediately after blending
to prevent it from thickening too much.
Makes 1 serving
½
cup (125 ml) frozen wild blueberries
1
banana, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces
1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10 ml) cocoa powder
¼
teaspoon (1 ml) ground cinnamon
½
cup (125 ml) almond milk
1. Put all of the ingredients, in the order listed, into the blending cup.
Secure blade assembly.
2. Run on High until smooth, about 1 minute.
