c) Turn down (left-hand stop) all input and echo/reverberation Controls not used.
When following these instructions you may be sure that the plant will provide Opti
mum hum-free and noise-free Operation. The follow ing gives the individual settings:
Since the 6 inputs are com pletely identical with each other, only the left-hand input
is described in following. The other 5 inputs are adjusted analogously:
1. Set totalizing volume control (13) to C
2. Totalizing treble control (11)
set to m id-Position (approx. 0)
}
3. Totalizing bass control (12)
4. Put totalizing volume control (13) at least to 6 or higher.
5. Put up input volume Controls (16) to desired volume.
6. Set input bass control (18) to the bass reproduction desired.
7. Turn input treble control (19) to the treble reproduction required.
8. Turn echo/reverberation control (20) to the echo/reverberation proportion desired.
9. Adjust level control (31) - with the electronic organ connected and the foot pedal
two thirds open - in such a way that the volume is adapted to the other inputs.
If the ievel control is at the right-hand stop and the volume
one of the front inputs must be selected. In this case the output voltage
organ is not sufficient.
10 If a second amplifier or another device is connected to the remaining inputs "In
put", the level control (31) should be turned up only to such an extent that volume
adaption is obtained and overshooting eliminated.
11. Put volume Controls to the finally required total volume. Care should be taken
that the pointer of the m odulation instrument (2) does not permanently defect
into the red field. If the pointer moves continuously in the red field, over shooting
of the am plifier occurs with resultant distortions.
12. Totalizing treble control (11) and totalizing bass control (12) should be turned
down or turned up further to suit the particular room conditions.
ATTENTION! In Order to elim inate undesirable humming and noise, the volume and
echo/reverberation Controls of the inputs not used should under any circum stances
be turned back to the left-hand stop.
If humming should continue nevertheless, it is possible that the main transformer
with its magnetic field affects the guitar sound pick-up (inductance coupling). Pla-
cing the guitar one or two Steps to the side or turning of the guitar will immediately
overcome this difficulty. When using an echo/reverberation unit, the same phenomena
may occur. In this case place the units in such a way and/or at such a distance from
each other (if necessary turn slightly) that mutual interference is eliminated.

Service and Maintenance:

DYNACORD units are quality products and belong to the world's top dass. The
component parts we use are first-class products of leading German manufacturers.
Extensive and strict inspection of the goods received ensure perfect and uniform
quality of the various components. If it should happen nevertheless that a compo-
nen part (valve, capacitor, transistor, etc.) becomes defective causing the unit to
break down, please apply to the nearest DYNACORD Service shop.
