Feature
Description
The main power switch applies or removes primary power from the power supply to the
Power button
associated node but maintains standby power. The power button has a built-in LED which
turns green when the power is on.
NIC LED
Indicates network activity on LANs when flashing.
Information LED Alerts operator to several states, as noted in the table below
The unit identification (UID) button turns on or off the blue light function of the Information
UID button/LED
LED and a blue LED on the rear of the chassis. This can be used to locate the node.
BMC reset
The BMC can be reset using the UID switch. See

Red, solid

the server in a rack environment.
BMC is resetting
BMC is setting factory defaults
BMC/BIOS firmware is updating
