Installing M.2 Solid State Drives
Each node can accommodate two M.2 solid state drives (SSDs) using a storage controller
card (SCC-P2N2M2-P2). It supports PCIe Gen4 M.2-NVMe, size 2280/60/42 with regular
GenZ-2C pin as the interface connector.

To Install M.2 SSDs
Caution: Use industry-standard anti-static equipment, such as gloves or wrist strap, and
follow precautions to avoid damage caused by ESD.
1. Pull the controller card up and out of the motherboard slot (SXB6). On the motherboard,
remove any DIMMs obstructing access to the carrier card slot.
