Code 128 Append
This function allows the scanner to append the data from several Code 128 bar-
codes together before transmitting them to the host computer. When the scanner
encounters a Code 128 barcode with the append trigger character(s), it buffers
Code 128 barcodes until it reads a Code 128 barcode that does not have the
append trigger. The data is then transmitted in the order in which the barcodes
were read (FIFO). Default = On.

Code 128 Code Page

Code pages define the mapping of character codes to characters. If the data
received does not display with the proper characters, it may be because the bar-
code being scanned was created using a code page that is different from the one
the host program is expecting. If this is the case, scan the barcode below, select the
code page with which the barcodes were created (see

Programming

(page 114) for additional information. Minimum and Maximum
* On
on page 220), and scan the value and the Save barcode from the
Chart. The data characters should then appear properly.
