1. H and L needles (high and low) are restricted in number of turns, as shown below.
Needle "H" 11/4 + ¼
2. Start the engine and leave heating on medium speed.
3. Slowly rotate the needle "L" to the right to find the position corresponding to the maximum
idle peed. Make it back a quarter turn to the left.
4. Turn the adjustment screw idle (T) to the left so that the chain does not move the greencut.
If the idle speed is too low, turn the screw clockwise.
5. Make a test cut and adjust the needle H (high) for greater cutting power, not for maximum
speed.

CHAIN BRAKE

This equipment has an automatic brake that stops the rotation of the saw chain when a kickback
occurs during the operation of this. The brake is acts automatically due to the inertia force on the
existing weight within the shield when the backlash occurs. You can manually operate the brake by
pushing the front hand guard towards the side of the guide bar.
When the brake is actuated, a security latch comes out from the chain brake base.
Realese the brake
Pull the chain brake handle until it is hookep up in position.
Note
When actuating the brake, release the throttle to slow the engine. A continuous
operation with the brake generates heat from the clutch and cause malfunction
thereof.
When making an inspection prior to any work, check the brake operation by
observing the following points.
1.
Start the engine and take the handle firmly with both hands.
2.
Pulling the throttle to maintain the operation of the chain, push the brake lever (left guard)
down to the front using the back and his left hand.
3.
Pull the brake and stop the chain, release the throttle.
4.
Release the brake.
