This engine is cooled by cooling air. Obstruction of dust between the air inlet port and the cylinder
coolant cause engine overheating. Periodically check and clean the barrel after removing the air
cleaner and the cylinder cover.
IMPORTANT
When installing the cylinder cover, make sure the switch wires and grommets are in
place.
7. Muffler
If the muffler is not properly installed after starting the engine, muffler will lose and high exhaust gas
temperature will be poured. After cleaning the muffler, pay attention to fix the muffler according to
the following explanation:
1. The body of the muffler, the cover plate and reduction must be combined properly.
2. Make sure the lining is not broken. If broken, replace with new.
3. Before securing the screws, clean and grease them.
4. After a test start, secure the screw
(Torsional strength: 6.9-7.8 Nm. / 70-80 kg-cm).
Note
Do not touch the muffler with bare hands immediately after stopping the engine,
this will cause burns.
The obstacles that exist in carbon muffler causes a poor come out and problems in starting the
engine. Check and clean the inside of the muffler every 100 hours of use.
