SERVICE • Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. • When servicing a power tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual. - Page 8 Tip contact in some cases may cause a sudden reverse reaction, kicking the guide bar up and back towards the operator. Pinching the saw chain along the top of the guide bar may push the guide bar rapidly back towards the operator.

Only use replacement chain that is equivalent to original chain or has been certified as low kickback chair. -

ADJUSTING THE CHAIN TENSION See page 23. See page 32. 1. Loosen the chain tensioner knob slightly by turning it counterclockwise. 2. To increase the chain tension, turn the chain tensioner adjustment ring clockwise and check the chain tension frequently. To reduce the chain tension, turn the chain tensioner adjustment ring counterclockwise and check the chain tension frequently. -
