    MAINTENANCE In order to minimize wear on moving parts and to insure smoother operation and longer life for your magnetic drill, the following maintenance should be done periodically, based on use. 1. Regularly tighten all fasteners and replace all worn parts. 2.
  • Page 18 SWIVEL BASE INSTRUCTIONS SWIVEL BASE INSTRUCTIONS The threads on the Clamp Handle Assembly are a Left Handed thread. Meaning, turning clockwise will loosen the assembly and turning counter-clockwise will tighten the assembly. The Clamp Handle Assembly is spring loaded, so you will need to lift & turn the entire Clamp The threads on the clamp handle assembly are a Left Handed thread meaning,turning clockwise would loosen the assembly and turning Hanndle Assemblt when repositioning , as if to be a ratchet drive.

    HINTS FOR SMOOTHER OPERATION 1. Keep the inside of Hougen Cutter clear of chips. Chips will interfere with cutting to maximum depth, maybe impede the free oil flow and can cause cutter breakage. #1 cause of cutter 2. Keep work, machine, arbor and Hougen Cutter free of chips and dirt.
