Preventing Accidental Programming

You can prevent the accidental programming of your scanner by setting the Lock feature. To
prevent the programming of your scanner, follow these steps:
1.
Set the switch labeled ENTER LOCK on the
rear panel of your scanner to the ON
position.
2.
When lock is set, the
are disabled. If these keys are pressed,
an error message flashes for two
seconds, and your scanner resets.
3.
To return to normal operation, set the
switch to the OFF position.
