Unexpected behaviour
Problem
Power level 9 is auto-
matically reduced if you
also set power level 9
for the connected cook-
ing zone.
A cooking zone
switches off automatic-
ally.
The cooking zone is not
working in the usual
way with the set power
level.
A cooking zone or the
whole hob switches off
automatically.
The Booster level has
deactivated early auto-
matically.
Cause and remedy
Operating both zones at power level 9 exceeds the
permitted maximum power for the two zones.
Use a different cooking zone.
It has been operated for too long.
Switch the cooking zone back on (see "Familiar-
isation – Safety switch-off").
The overheating protection mechanism has been ac-
tivated.
Allow the hob to cool down.
Rectify the causes of the overheating (see "Famili-
arisation – Overheating protection").
Check that the hob is working.
If the problem occurs again, contact the Customer
Service Department.
