3.6.5.
GPI Shift Lines
This control adjusts the number of rows to move the captions when the GPI Caption Shift feature is
enabled. Options are 2, 3 or 4 rows.
3.6.6.
Modem Speaker
An onboard modem speaker has been provided for monitoring modem activity, to verify that the modem
is connecting properly during dial-up captioning. The user can turn the modem speaker on or off.
3.6.7.
GPI/O Config
The GPI/O Configuration control is used to define specific behaviour of the GPOs. To enter the GPO
setup sub-menus, use the UP and DOWN arrows until GPI/O Config is displayed on the front panel.
Press SELECT to enter the sub-menu. The following options are available in the GPI/O Config setup
sub-menu. Refer to sections 3.6.7.1 to 3.6.7.4.
3.6.7.1. GPO 1 to 4 Active Lvl
The GPO active level can be defined based on the requirements of the application. The active level
can be set to high or low. The default setting is low.
3.6.7.2. GPO 1 to 4 Assert Delay
The GPO assertion time can be delayed. This control is useful in time critical automation control
systems. The GPO x Assert Dly has a range of 0 to 127.5s, which can be adjusted in increments of
0.5s. The default setting is 0. See Figure 3-2 for an example of how this setting affects the GPO
output.
3.6.7.3. GPO 1 to 4 Deassert Delay
