Display Messages
The following paragraphs contain configuration prompts and
operational status display messages, any of which may appear in
the course of normal operation. They are listed in alphabetical
order and briefly described within three major groups as follows:
• Status Messages
• Prompt Messages
• Combined Status-Prompt Messages
Chapter 8, Troubleshooting, contains lists of display messages
which convey error information. Generally, they contain the
current status of the terminal on the top line and prompt the user
to perform the corrective action specified on the bottom line.
Status Messages
Display messages which notify the user only of the current status
of the terminal are listed and described in this group.
