STU 111/SECTEL Software Setting
The STU 111/SECTEL's internal modem can operate in the
synchronous or asynchronous mode of communication. In
addition, it can transmit data at various rates in the asynchronous
mode. After you have set your computer communication
protocols, you must set the STU 111/SECTEL's communication
protocols to the same values. Use the following procedure to set
the STU III/SECTEL's communication protocols:

• Sync (equivalent to your terminal's synchronous 2400 bps
data rate).
• Async 300 (equivalent to your terminal's asynchronous
300 bps data rate).
• Async 1200 (equivalent to your terminal's asynchronous
1200 bps data rate).
• Async 2400 (equivalent to your terminal's asynchronous
2400 bps data rate).
