Chapter 2
Controls and Indicators
The Motorola STU 111/SECTEL incorporates many features and
functions which provide both flexibility and ease of operation. For
example, an invalid key press may cause a short beep, but the
incorrect entry is ignored. This section introduces these functions,
and provides a detailed discussion of the STU 111/SECTEL's
message display, keys, and controls.
The STU 111/SECTEL has a standard telephone keypad
(Figure
2-1 ).
The keypad is used for all digit entry functions, as well
as regular dialing sequences, and the programming of memory dial
keys.
