7. Initial start-up

f Ensure that the hot water boiler is not connected to the
power supply.
f Unscrew the aerator from the spout.
f Set the tap lever to "cold".
f Draw off water until it runs free of bubbles and debris.
f Set the tap lever to "hot" and draw off water until it runs free
of bubbles and debris. This may take up to two minutes.
f Turn off the tap.
f Screw the aerator onto the spout until finger-tight.
f Check all connections for tightness.
f Connect the hot water boiler to the power supply.
To save water, you can restrict the flow rate:
f Unscrew the hose from the tap.
f Remove the O-ring from the union nut on the hose.
f Position the flow limiter in the union nut on the hose, in
place of the O-ring.
f Screw the hose onto the tap until finger-tight.

!
If the flow limiter is inserted between hose and hand
shower attachment, the hose may leak due to the pres-
sure being too high.
f Only insert the flow limiter between hose and tap.
