Intended use

The pressure-tested mono lever mixer tap is intended for op-
eration with a pressure-tested, sealed unvented instantaneous
water heater.
- MEKD for sinks
- MEBD for baths and showers
The product is designed for domestic use. It can be used safely
by untrained persons. The appliance can also be used in non-do-
mestic environments, e.g. in small businesses, as long as it is
used in the same way.
Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed to be out-
side the intended use. Observation of these instructions and of
instructions for any accessories used is also part of the intended
use of this appliance.

General safety instructions

WARNING Burns
During operation, the tap can reach temperatures in ex-
cess of 60 °C.
There is a risk of scalding at outlet temperatures in ex-
cess of 43 °C.

Operation
1 Tap lever
2 Diverter valve: Spout and hand shower
CAUTION: risk of pinching
!
Moving the tap operating lever changes the gap between
the tap operating lever and the tap body.
f When moving the tap operating lever, do not reach
into the gap between tap operating lever and tap
body.
f To obtain the required mix of hot and cold water, move the
tap lever forwards or backwards.
f To draw off water, move the tap lever to the right.
