INSTALLATION

Initial start-up

f Seal the thread of the butterfly valve using hemp or Teflon
tape.
f Fit the butterfly valve together with wall bezel to the cold
water pipe.
f Seal the thread of the tap body using hemp or Teflon tape.
f Fit the tap body, together with flat gasket, to the butterfly
valve. Align the tap body horizontally when doing so.

f If necessary shorten the connection pipes to the required
length and deburr the cut edges.
f Slacken off the union nuts of the threaded fittings at the con-
nections on the tap body.

f Insert the connection pipes vertically through the union nuts
into the connections on the tap body.
f Screw the connection pipes loosely to the tap body using the
union nuts.
f Fit the hot water generator.
f Hand-tighten the connection pipes to the connections of the
hot water generator using O-rings and union nuts.
f With a spanner, apply a small amount of torque to tighten
the union nuts of the threaded fittings to the tap body.
f Screw the spout with O-ring onto the tap body until
finger-tight.

f Ensure that the hot water generator is not connected to the
power supply.
f Open the cold water pipe.
f Fully open the rotary handle for cold water until the water
comes out free of bubbles and debris.
f Turn off the tap.
