10.4 Temperature limit / Anti-scalding protection
The maximum temperature can be limited on the programming
unit of the appliance cover. The maximum temperature can on
the programming unit of the appliance cover. This requires the
following steps:
f Remove the appliance cover.

f Remove the electronic PCB from the programming unit of the
f
appliance cover. Be careful with the snap-on hooks.
f Move the plug from left to right (position "Tred").
f
f Refit the programming unit, ensuring the snap-on hooks
f
click into place. Observe the positions of the push-button and
shaft.
CAUTION Burns
If operating the appliance with preheated water, the set
temperature limit and anti-scalding protection may be
ineffective.
f In this case, restrict the temperature at the upstream
f
central thermostatic valve (see chapter "Installation /
Appliance description / Accessories").

11. Commissioning
WARNING Electrocution
Commissioning must only be carried out by a qualified
contractor in accordance with safety regulations.
11.1 Initial start-up

f Open and close all connected draw-off valves several times,
f
until all air has been purged from the pipework and the
appliance.
f Check for leaks in the appliance screw joints.
f
f Activate the safety pressure limiter at flow pressure by firmly
f
pressing in the reset button (the appliance is delivered with
the safety pressure limiter deactivated).

f Insert the temperature selector plug into the "set tempera-
f
ture" PCB.
f Fit the appliance cover and secure with the screw.
f
f Switch the power supply ON.
f
f Calibrate the temperature. For this, turn the temperature se-
f
lector fully clockwise then fully anti-clockwise.
f Check the appliance function.
f
f Remove the protective foil from the control fascia.
f
Appliance handover
f Explain the appliance function to users and familiarise them
f
with how it works.
f Make the user aware of potential dangers, especially the risk
f
of scalding.
f Hand over these instructions.
f
