FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE
The treadmillconsole offers an impressivearray of
features that help you get the most from your workouts.
When the manual mode of the console is selected, the
speed and inclineof the treadmill can be changed with
the touch of a button.As you exercise, the console will
display instantexercise feedback. You can even mea-
sure your heart rate usingthe handgrip pulse sensor or
the optional chest pulse sensor (see page 23).
In addition,the console offers six preset programs.Each
program automaticallycontrols the speed and inclineof
the treadmillas it guides you through an effectivework-
out. Two heart rate programsare also offered. Each
program automaticallyadjuststhe speed and inclineof
the treadmillto keep your heart rate near a target heart
rate while you exercise.
The console also features iFIT.com interactivetechnol-
ogy. Having iFIT.com technologyis like having a per-
sonal trainer in your home. Using the included audio
cable, you can connect the treadmillto your home
stereo, portablestereo, computer, orVCR and play
special iFIT.com CD and video programs (iFIT.com
CDs and videocassettesare available separately).
