Remote Battery Replacement (3-button)

Replace remote battery with a CR2032 coin cell battery.

1. Open remote case using a washer or coin that fits into the slot on the top of the remote.

2. Replace battery. Be sure positive side (+) is UP.

3. Align components and snap case closed.

NOTE: For battery replacement in other Genie remote models reference

instruction sheets for that model.

CHANGING LIGHT BULBS (Genie LED bulbs recommended)

•

Use extreme caution when working from a ladder or step

stool or serious injury can occur.

•

When replacing light cover, make sure wires are not pinched

or near moving parts.

•

Use only properly rated LED light bulbs.

•

DO NOT use bulbs with a current rating greater than 15 Watts.

Use A19 size light bulbs. DO NOT use bulbs having a short

neck.

1. Disconnect power to operator.

2. Open operator lens cover by pressing in on upper locking tab and lower cover.

3. Replace old light bulbs with 15 Watt MAXIMUM LED equivalent**.

* Genie LED light bulbs, which are specifically made for garage door operators, are

recommended.

4. Close lens cover.

5. Reconnect power to door operator.

6. Test light operation.

NOTE: Use of standard LED bulbs may reduce the

range of your remote controls*.

reduced remote range issues

caused by common LED bulbs.
