Press the SELECT MODE key until "RES VOL" appears on the
display.
This example shows a RES VOL setting of
100 ml with the pump in the Stop mode.
Press the SCROLL keys to set the value for the volume contained
in the fluid container.
Press the SET/CLEAR key within 15 seconds to set the value.
NOTES:
(1) If you do not w ish to use the reservoir-residual volum e feature, set the
R ES V O L value to "000". T hereafter, w hen R ES V O L is displayed,
"O FF" w ill appear on the display, and the R ES V O L alarm w ill not
function. H ow ever, this "O FF" relates only to the R ES V O L function.
T he pum p w ill continue to operate. Consequently, there w ill be no
w arning that the residual volum e is low.
(2) If you do not press the SET /CL EA R k ey w ithin 15 seconds, the pum p
w ill retain the previous R ES V O L setting.
(3) Prim ing the tubing subtracts the prim ing volum e from R ES V O L but
does not affect the G IV EN am ount, since the drug w ould not have
actually entered the patient.
