Troubleshooting

If an illegal configuration exists in the device, the device switches to error mode.
General errors
Error
Possible cause
Device is not responding. Supply voltage does not match that specified on
the nameplate.
Supply voltage has incorrect polarity.
Connecting cables are not in contact with the
terminals.
Output current < 3.6 mA Signal line is not wired correctly.

Response of output to errors

The response of the output to error is regulated in accordance with NAMUR NE43.
