The status of the switch output is transmitted in the form of process data via IO-Link. • In the SIO mode, switch output 1 is switched at pin 4 of the M12 plug. An offset is possible (parallel shifting of the sensor characteristic) to correct the orientation and any zero point drift. The accepted value of the parameter is subtracted from the "raw measured value".

    Commissioning Cerabar PMP23 IO-Link Configuring process monitoring To monitor the process, it is possible to specify a pressure range which is monitored by the limit switch. Both monitoring versions are described below. The monitoring function allows the user to define optimum ranges for the process (with high yields etc.) and deploy limit switches to monitor the ranges.
