Chapter 8 RISO Console

RISO Console

"RISO Console" is a function for remotely operating
this machine using a Web browser.
You can check the status of this machine and
change the settings from a computer that is con-
nected via a network.

Accessing RISO Console

Start up a Web browser.

Enter the IP address of this
machine.
Entry example:
BFor the IP address of this machine,
contact your administrator.

Press the [Enter] key.
The [Monitoring] menu screen for the RISO
Console is displayed.

Logging in

In order to perform the following operations, it is nec-
essary to log in to the RISO Console.
• Browsing the [Printer] menu screen
• Changing the settings on the [Network] menu screen
(login is not necessary for browsing)

Click [Login].

Enter [User name] and [Password].
■ [User name]
Enter "admin" (lower-case, single-byte charac-
ters).
You cannot change the user name.
■ [Password]
This is the password that has been set in the
[User] tab screen

time of factory shipment is "admin" (lower-case,
single-byte characters).

Click [OK].

Logging out

Click [Logout].
When you log out, the user name display goes
