Storage information and usage
duration
Store in a dry place and protect from
sunlight. The medical retailer or doctor
prescribing the orthosis will advise on
exactly how long it can be used for.
Indications
Immobilisation of the carpometacarpal
joint in cases of rhizarthrosis (osteoar-
thritis of the carpometacarpal joint of
the thumb), osteoarthritis of the radial
metacarpus and of the MCP1 joint, radial
or ulnar (collateral) ligament lesions
(skier's thumb), sprains (twists / strains),
De Quervain's tenosynovitis (gamer's
thumb).
Contra-indications
In the following illnesses the orthosis
should only be worn after consulting a
physician:
lymph drainage disorders, arterial flow
impairment, post-thrombotic conditions,
skin diseases or skin irritations; Wounds
in the treatment area are to be covered
with sterile dressings.

Side effects
There are no known side effects when
used as directed. However, if negative
reactions (such as for example skin irrita-
tions) should occur while the use of our
products has been prescribed, please
go to your physician or your specialist
dealer immediately. If an incompatibility
should be known against one or several
ingredients of this product, please check
back with your physician before use. If
your symptoms worsen during the time
you are wearing the product, please take
off the orthosis and consult a medical
specialist immediately. The manufacturer
is not liable for damages / injuries which
have been caused by improper handling
or misuse.
In the case of complaints related to this
product, such as damage to the knitted
fabric or problems with the fit, please
contact the medical retailer directly.
Only serious incidents that may lead to
a major deterioration of the patient's
medical condition or to death should be
reported to the manufacturer and the
relevant authority in the Member State.
Serious incidents are defined in Article 2
(65) Regulation (EU) 2017 / 745 (MDR).
Disposal
As a rule, the product is to be destroyed
via the conventional disposal route
after the end of use. Please observe the
applicable local / national regulations.

Utilisation
JuzoPro Rhizo Xtec Soft, composé de
textiles non élastiques combinés à
des éléments de renfort ajustables,
immobilise l'articulation métacarpienne
et la soulage.
Comment fixer correctement votre
orthèse JuzoPro Rhizo Xtec Soft :
1. Ouvrez les deux fermetures velcro et
tirez les courroies jusqu'à la fermeture
velcro à travers les oeillets (ne pas
ouvrir entièrement!).
2. Introduisez votre main dans l'orthèse
en veillant à placer le pouce dans la
boucle supérieure de la courroie. Les
deux échancrures doivent se trouver
sur la face externe du pouce (ill. 1 + 2).
3. Fermez d'abord la courroie inférieure,
puis la courroie autour du pouce
(ill. 3).
