The Multi-ring Centre Burner
The multi-ring burner can also be taken apart for cleaning.
To Remove the Multi-ring Centre Burner
To clean the multi-ring burner (Fig.6-4) you need to remove
both the smaller inner cap and the larger outer cap. Next, lift
o the inner brass ame ring, alongside the outer brass ame
ring. Finally the aluminium ame ring support can be lifted
clear of the burner base.
To Re t the Multi-ring Centre Burner
It is important that the ame ring support is securely located
in the correct position, ensuring the polished faces on the
underside are aligned.
When reassembling the multi-ring burner, the two probes t
into the aluminium ring support with a bar inbetween them
(Fig.6-5).
Be sure that the support is positioned correctly.

Once in position, the outer brass ame ring can be tted by
lining the four pips on the support, up with the notches on
the base of the ame ring. It should click into place.
Repeat this procedure for the inner brass ame ring, again
aligning the pips with the notches on the base of the ring.
Now t the two burner caps, making sure that they are seated
properly. Check the burner works correctly.

Stainless Steel Main Top

Lift away pots or pans from the main top. Remove the pan
supports from spillage area and carefully place in a sink of
warm soapy water. Wipe loose debris from the main top.
Avoid using any abrasive cleaners including cream cleaners.
For best results use a liquid detergent cleaner.
Rinse with cold water and thoroughly dry with a clean, soft
cloth. Make sure all parts are dry before repositioning.
Griddle
(Optional extra)
Always clean the griddle after use. Allow to cool completely
before removing. Immerse the griddle plate in hot soapy
water. Use a soft cloth or, for stubborn stains, a nylon washing
up brush.
Note: If the griddle is washed in a dishwasher then some
dishwasher residue may appear on the back. This is normal
and will not a ect the performance of your griddle.

Glide-out Grill

Before you remove any of the grill parts for cleaning,

make sure that they are cool, or use oven gloves.
Wash the grill pan, trivet and grill tray in hot soapy water.
Alternatively, wash the grill pan in a dishwasher. After grilling
meats or any foods that soil, leave to soak for a few minutes
in the sink immediately after use. Stubborn particles may be
removed from the trivet by using a nylon brush.
To remove the grill pan pull the tray assembly forwards
(Fig.6-6) and then lift the grill pan clear of the grill tray
assembly (Fig.6-7).
