Tap Adjustment
Note: The valves in this cooker are tted with adjustable
bypass screws to enable the turn-down rate to be set. The
cooker is supplied with the bypass screws set for Natural
Gas. For LPG conversion the bypass screws must be screwed
all the way down otherwise the burner will not turn down
enough.
It is possible to adjust the bypass screw by simply removing
the control knobs (Fig.9-4). If however you are unable to
access the bypass screw using a suitable screwdriver, you
will need to remove the control panel, please refer to section
'Removing the Control Panel'
Turn the bypass screw on each control clockwise until it stops.
Repeat for all burner valves.
Re t the control knobs.
Removing the Control Panel
Note: If you are unable to adjust the bypass screw by simply
removing the control knobs, you will need to remove the
control panel and hotplate.
Pull the control knobs to remove them.
Undo the 7 screws holding the control panel in position
(Fig.9-5). Lift the control panel slightly and pull it forwards,
taking care not to damage it. Carefully remove the 4 neon
holders. To do this push the black sleeving back slightly, grip
the white plastic neon casing and pull the neon holder away
from the control panel.
Now the control panel can be fully removed.
Removing the Hotplate
On the hotplate you will need to remove the brass venturi's
from the four outer burners and lift the burner bases out.
Following this, gently push back the black sleeves on the
attached leads and gripping the base of the terminals, pull
from the electrodes.
Remove the 4 screws holding the multi-ring centre burner in
place, followed by the 8 screws xing the hotplate in place.
The hotplate can now be lifted clear of the appliance.
Remove the old injectors. Save the injectors removed from
the appliance for possible future use by the customer.
Re t the hotplate, making sure to feed the ignition leads back
through the hotplate.
Note: When re tting the hotplate, take care not to damage or
displace the ame safety probes (Fig.9-6).
Re t each of the burner bases; make sure to reconnect the
ignition leads and slide the insulating sleeves in place. Re t
the brass venturis.
