The following minimal configuration is required for the server to start:
• One DRAM memory module in slot 1
• One external 300W power adapter
• One 2280 NVMe M.2 drive in slot 1 on the I/O module board
• Three non-hot-swappable system fans

The PMB status LED can be in one of the following states:
Off
The source power is not delivered to the system board normally:
• The 300-watt power adapter is not working properly.
To resolve the issue:
• Check to see if the external power cords are correctly connected to the server and to a
working electrical output.
• Check to see if the connection of the cables between the power module board and the power
input board module is stable (see "Cable routing for the power module board and power input
board module " in the User Guide or Hardware Maintenance Guide).
• Replace the power input board module or the power module board (see "power input board
module replacement" or "Power module board replacement" the User Guide or Hardware
Maintenance Guide).
Green
The source power is delivered to the system board normally. The server is or is ready to be
powered on.

System-board LEDs

The following illustrations show the light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the system board.
Press the power button to light the LEDs on the system board when the power source has been removed
from the server.
