In active state, the E-STOP device PIT es Set10u-5ns (AIDA) is lit (the actuator lights up red) and it fulfils the requirements in accordance with EN ISO 13850. In inactive state, the E-STOP pushbutton PIT es Set10u-5ns (AIDA) is not lit and it can not be detected as an emergency stop device. The E-STOP device detects any defect on the red lighting and opens the safety circuit 1-2 (1-4). If the mechanical coupling of the contact block set to the E-STOP pushbutton is lost, an N/ O contact and the safety circuit 1-2 (1-4) will open. Use M4 head cap screws to attach the mounting plate. Tighten the screws with a torque of 1 Nm. Use an appropriate screw adhesive to protect the screws from working loose. E-STOP devices that have only N/C contacts. Note that when operating a conventional E-STOP device which is in the chain before the PIT es Set10u-5ns (AIDA), the PIT es Set10u-5ns (AIDA) is not electrically supplied and there- fore it is not illuminated. -
